FS9 & FSX Versions Now Available!
The Dakota comes in two, separate packages one for FS2004 (FS9 with Service Pack 1 installed) and one for FSX (With either SP1 or SP2 / Acceleration installed). It will operate on systems running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Vista 32 and with DirectX 9 or DirectX 10 only. The Dakota will not operate in Windows Vista 64 at this time Note: The 16-bit Garmin Trainer used with the Dakota's Garmin GNS430 is incompatible with Vista 64. We are making efforts to rectify this for both the Dakota and other products DreamFleet will port into FSX via a new version of the Garmin GNS430, which is currently under development. The Turbo Dakota will be a free update to the Dakota, and will be released at a later date. If you purchase either the FS9 or FSX version you will be able to download and install the other version at any time for FREE by using the key obtained with the first version you purchased. The Flight 1 Software E-Commerce enabled download executable is about 63 mb in size. The purchase screen will appear when you run the executable. The servers do support Resume, however we do not recommend certain download managers because they can sometimes corrupt large downloads. Piper Turbo Dakota (Free Update) Click here to download> Click here to download> FS9 / FSX Compatibility & System Requirements This product is only compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 "A Century of Flight" (FS9), with Service Patch 1 (SP1) installed ( also known as FS9.1) and Microsoft Flight Simulator X with Service Patch 1 or 2 installed (SP1 or SP2 / Acceleration), and Windows XP with Service Patch 2 (SP2) installed and Vista 32. Direct X 9 or Direct X 10 Preview. For your computer, we recommend you have a minimum 1.6 Ghz processor, with a 256 Mb memory video card (more preferred). System memory should be a minimum of 512 Mb (1 Gb or more preferred). Low-end on-board sound chips are NOT recommended. A plug-in sound card, such as a Soundblaster Audigy, is recommended. In some cases, sounds will not work correctly unless you have an adequate sound card.
